Assessment Overview
The dm-LINGUA German Language Assessment evaluates communicative competence in German as a Foreign Language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Assessments are currently being developed and delivered for adult learners in professional, educational, and integration contexts.
The institution currently provides instruction and assessment at all CEFR levels from A1 to C2.
Examination Structure
dm-LINGUA assessments evaluate all four language skills in accordance with the CEFR framework.
Reading
Candidates demonstrate their ability to understand authentic written texts encountered in academic, professional, and everyday situations.
Listening
Candidates demonstrate their ability to understand spoken German in a variety of communicative contexts.
Writing
Candidates demonstrate their ability to produce clear and appropriate written texts for practical, academic, and professional purposes.
Speaking
Candidates demonstrate their ability to communicate orally through interaction, discussion, and authentic communication tasks.
